Spectacular view with ocean access, 1h from Bergen

Take in the beauty, peace & calmness of the majestic Western Norwegian scenery - you can't get much closer to the fjord than this. situated only 15m from the coastline, with easy ocean access. This is rare, due to the strict building laws near the coast. The apartment is facing south, & has excellent sun conditions all year round - also rare for Western Norway. Only 1hr from Bergen, the city centre of Strandvik boasts a multisport facility, with sports ranging from beach volleyball to football. The space Built in 2003, this architect-designed generational house comes with a stunning & rare fjord view. The master bedroom downstairs is equipped with a high-end king-size bed from Norwegian bed manufacturer Svane, and is an experience in & of itself. There are two more bedrooms in the upstairs area, making a total of three, where one of them is equipped with another double-bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom is spacious with a comfortable shower. There are only around 600 people living in Strandvik, but paradoxically enough, this tiny countryside town has a big outdoor multisport facility with the best beachvolley courts in Norway. You can play tennis, basketball and football anytime you feel like it, as it is free to use for anyone visiting. There is also big host of nice hiking trails in the near vicinity, with some of them starting 1 minute away from the house. Strandvik is remote & peaceful, yet quite central in terms of things to do. Visit Bergen - the second largest city in Norway for a daytrip only 1 hour away, or drive 2 hours to Odda to hike the world-renowned "Trolltunga". Hardangerfjorden, Kvinnherad and Rosendal are also very popular areas with lots of tourist attractions and amazing sceneries, only 1,5 hours away. Guest access There is a big parking lot on the site with access to 4/5 cars. Other things to note The house is built in two parts, where the owners live in two of them. The rental home/apartment is attached , but totally separated from the mainhouse, and has its own entrance. Guests are welcome to use the areas around the property, there is a small deck where you can jump for a refreshing dip in the fjord. Bring a fishing rod og ask the owners to lend you one, should you want to catch your own meal for the day
