Our cabin is truly a quiet place in the country to 'catch your breath' and relax in the beauty of God's creation. There are trails over 32 acres of rolling hills and woods where you may sneak up on deer and other wildlife. Comfortable for four. Fire ring/grill and firewood. Full kitchen. 55' smart TV, DVD player, WiFi Pet friendly. $50 /stay The space Tucked in a secluded cove, our log cabin in Morgan County has privacy with a view that few others can surpass. One mile North of Chesterhill, OH, close (30 minutes) to Athens and McConnelsville. Luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, with 32 acres to enjoy (there is another cabin, The Cottage, on the same property). Hiking, bird watching, relaxation and fresh country air are just a few of the benefits. Private bedroom and loft bedroom, both with queen beds. Gas Franklin stove/fireplace, AC, fully equipped kitchen, full bath with shower, DVD player, washer & dryer. 10 x 16' deck with gas grill, table and chairs. Outdoor fire pit with grill, firewood provided. Get away from the busyness and listen to the quiet, absorb the peace. There is a bit of road noise but we think it is minor. A few groceries, pizza, subs, and 2 restaurants in Chesterhill. McConnelsville has a variety of restaurants, grocery stores and unique shopping and historic places. Our cozy cabin is close to The Wilds (1 hr), Wolf Creek Wildlife Area (20 minutes), Muskingum River, AEP Recreation Lands, covered bridges, Amish community, and many species of wildlife, especially deer and turkey. You will love Antler Ridge Cabin for a romantic weekend or a week of vacation with your family. All the amenities of home in a quiet peaceful setting will help relieve stress and give you a new appreciation for the Creator and the created. Verizon cell service is decent. AT&T on top of the ridge, or at a church a mile away. Other things to note The Cottage is on the same property, a bit closer to the road than the Cabin. We have planted trees as a privacy measure between the two, and there is plenty of room to roam.
