Spacious manor apartment near the Saale and Elbe rivers

Our apartment in the village of Schwarz (Calbe/Saale) is part of an old four-sided courtyard in family ownership. Schwarz is just a stone's throw from the Saale Cycle Path and a few kilometers from the Elbe Cycle Path. If you close the courtyard gate, you leave everyday life behind in the courtyard under grapevines. Or you can start from here to the highlights of the region: Dessau, Quedlinburg, Harz, Magdeburg – but maybe just the next lake. Perfect for cyclists, families or to write your book in peace. The space Our family took over the listed farmhouse a few years ago. We have already renovated the interior of the main house. From the outside, it is still sleeping like Sleeping Beauty. Not for people with a penchant for perfectionism, all the more for romantics. In total, there are 4 apartments in the main house. Ours is on the 2nd floor. Old sanded plank floors, high rooms, wall heating under clay plaster and natural colors, over 80 square meters of spacious old building. In the courtyard you sit wonderfully protected overlooking grapevines (sometimes we think it could also be Tuscany). When you climb the high steps of the time-honored staircase and open the apartment door, you stand in an open kitchen/living room. In the middle is a small kitchen island, as well as a dining table and an ancient, beautiful tiled stove, which, however, only looks beautiful, but no longer heats. In the kitchen there is a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a dishwasher with a few tabs, a 4-burner stove incl. an oven, a Nespresso coffee machine with an initial supply of capsules, a kettle, a small selection of teas, a toaster and of course sufficient dishes and pots, pepper, salt, sugar, olive oil, etc. Behind the kitchen is the first bedroom. Here there is a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and a view of the courtyard. The large living room is also accessible from the kitchen. Here there is a sofa bed on which 1-2 tired souls can stay overnight if necessary. For perfect evenings: a fireplace and a 43" smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, media libraries, satellite TV) and a Sonos box for your favorite playlist. From the living room you can access the bathroom with underfloor heating, towel dryer, sink, toilet, freestanding bathtub with shower faucet and shower curtain. A hairdryer, towels, shower gel and toilet paper are of course available. A washing machine and dryer are also available here. The second bedroom is accessible from the living room. Here you will find a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a bunk bed (2 beds, 90 x 200 cm). With 50 Mbit, you are excellently connected to the Internet via WiFi here in the countryside. If you want, you can also work here and participate in video conferences. But you can also easily go offline here. Just the way you want it. In the wonderfully romantic courtyard, there is a sitting area with a grill and umbrella just for you. If you feel like a fire, light the fire bowl. Parking is available free of charge in front of the house (street). You can park your bikes in the courtyard. The courtyard gate is closed at night, and the wheels are also safe in the courtyard. In the courtyard, we also have a wallbox that allows you to charge your electric car. You are welcome to use this by arrangement. Other things to note The other farm buildings are not accessible for structural reasons!
