Description

Welcome! This is my winter home away from home and I'm ready to share it with you. The condo sleeps up to five adults with a queen mattress in the private bedroom, a twin bed in the hallway nook, and a full sleeper sofa in the living room. You'll also have your own kitchen, bath, and balcony. Thank you for taking a look at my place. I hope to be able to host your stay! My co-host, Eddi, is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador of Galveston. He'll take excellent care of you. The space My beach condo is located on Galveston Island in Texas along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. It‘s on the famous Seawall Blvd and you can walk across the street to the beach. There are plenty of tourist activities in Galveston and my place is close to it all. You’ll find it’s a great spot for families, friends, couples, and even business travelers. Guest access You'll have access to the entire condo except for a closet or two we keep locked for some of our personal stuff, or so the cleaning company can store items guests leave behind. Other than that, please make yourself at home and enjoy your time in Galveston! You'll also have access to all the onsite amenities including the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court, laundry rooms, and barbecue areas. Of course, some of the amenities do go down for maintenance every now and then. Other things to note Please take some time to read this section carefully before you book. You must understand and agree to everything here before booking. If not, please consider booking elsewhere. We just don't want you to be disappointed or have to change your plans after booking. Here's a quick breakdown of what's to follow in this section. - This is a managed condo property with a resort fee - Amenities might not work during your stay - You'll need to agree with and abide by guest rules - Smoking and pets are not allowed - This is our home, not a perfectly-managed hotel MANAGED CONDO PROPERTY Please note this condo is part of a managed condominium resort property, The Victorian. There is a $35 resort fee you will need to pay when you check in at the front lobby. The resort fee covers access to all the on-site amenities like the pools and hot tubs and comes with up to two parking passes. If you need more parking passes, it'll be another $35 for every two additional passes. If you stay or park 7 days or longer, the resort fee will be $70 per month, also payable at the front desk. AMENITIES There are several amenities on the property provided and maintained by the condominium property management company. These amenities include pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, a volleyball court, pedestrian and vehicle gates, WiFi service, elevators, and more. Due to the age of the property, heavy use by owners and guests, and the harsh island weather, these amenities often are not available for use. If any of these amenities are an absolute must-have for you, we urge you to consider booking elsewhere. We cannot give refunds if any of the amenities are unavailable for any reason and we don't want you to be disappointed. GUEST RULES You'll need to sign and agree to guest rules that will be given to you when you check in at the front lobby. If you'd like a copy before checking in, just ask. We can send you a copy after you book. Please be aware that there are multiple privately-owned condo units at The Victorian. Some owners live in their condos full-time while others rent them out to guests like you. Please be courteous and respectful to owners and their guests alike. Follow all the rules. Our on-site security officers are available if they're needed. SMOKING and ANIMALS We cannot allow smoking in or near the condo and we're not able to accommodate pets of any kind. Smoke travels easily between condos and disrupts other owners and guests. Pets can be a nuisance and a liability. Property management is very strict concerning these two topics. Please consider booking elsewhere if you need to smoke or bring your pet/s. If you do smoke or bring a pet, your reservation might be cancelled and you might be charged a minimum $250 fee. Smoking is allowed on the ground floor and service animals are legally allowed. Please contact the front desk if you're bringing a service animal. SUPPLIES We only provide starter packs of any supplies we do provide. We always provide two rolls of toilet paper and a few bars of travel size soap or shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in bottles. We might not always provide things like paper towels, extra rolls of toilet paper, tissue, etc. If you need something extra, you'll have to bring some or pick some up for yourself. There are plenty of stores nearby including a Walmart right next door. A PRIVATE HOME Also please understand that this is a private home. We try to keep it in perfect shape, but that's unrealistic. Some things might be missing or broken, you might encounter bugs/pests/rodents, the water might be shut off for maintenance in another unit, the fridge or microwave might stop working, the WiFi might not work for whatever reason, etc. These things are rare of course, but we don't want you to be surprised if they do happen.
