Our B&B and Self-catering Holiday Cottages located at the foot of Ferrières, 30min from Castres and 10min from Brassac, beautifully restored between 1996 and 2015, have an exceptional location: just like a diamond in its setting, the mill dominates the end of a green and untouched valley, in the very heart of Sidobre in Tarn dept. The space Just take a look at our Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering Holiday Cottages in an authentic Water Mill, located near Ferrières (Fontrieu), thirty minutes from Castres (81) and ten minutes from Brassac. The "Moulin de Record", 15th century, has beautifully been restored between 1996 and 2002, and benefits of an exceptional location: just like a diamond in its setting, the mill (formerly the most important mill in the department) dominates the end of a green and untouched valley, part of the Regional Park of Haut-Languedoc, and in the very heart of Sidobre in the Tarn. Our individual and self catering holiday cottages charm an audience that comes not only for fishing (private and exclusively reserved to residents of the Mill of Record), but especially and above all to relax, recharge batteries, wishing to return to nature the time of their stay. All apartments are for 2-4 persons (5 if couple with three children) and two main rooms equipped with kitchen, dining area, lounge area with TV and comfortable sofa bed for 2 adults, bathroom with shower, WC, bedroom with a queen bed (160x200), a convertible armchair for 1 person, and baby bed on request. All cottages have view on the river (the Agoût) and can be rented in formula "cottage" (to be totally independent) or formula "B&B" (to profit of the comfort to put feet under the table and take breakfast served in the private part of the mill (possibility of "Table d'hôte", dinner on reservation) for total flexibility, and a successful stay. See you! ;-) Guest access Guests have access to all along the property (about 250m). Other things to note Upon your arrival, a deposit of €300 is required to be placed through a credit card imprint (no charge will be made). The final cleaning is not included in the rental price. If you do not wish to take care of it yourself, this service will be charged at €50.
