A warm welcome to the house of ¨Himlavända¨ East (¨Heaven’s Turn¨)! Part of a ¨family village¨ - all with their own neighboring ¨Himlavända¨ house. A luxurious 3-bedroom villa (and a 4th anteroom) with a private independent wing and workshop / storage - everything needed for your Gotland stay. Ideal for bigger get-togethers such as weddings, big birthdays, family reunions or team off-sites. Or it might just be two or a few of you, which will give you lots of space to spread out! The space We extend to you a warm welcome to the house of ¨Himlavända¨ East (¨Heaven’s Turn¨)! We call it “Himlavända East” as it’s part of a ¨family village¨ of 3 sisters and a dad – all with their own neighboring ¨Himlavända¨ house. It’s ideal for bigger get-togethers such as weddings, big birthdays, family reunions or team offsites. Or it might just be the two or a few of you, which will give you a lot of space to spread out …! A newly built, bright and modern 2-story villa. There’s plenty of room in the house for 8-10 people - although the exact number of people staying in the house has to be communicated. Upstairs, there’s the master bedroom with a queen size bed, and adjacent shower as well as washer/dryer. There's also the ¨kids' room¨ with a family size loft bed that sleeps up to 3 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, water cooker, French coffee press, etc. The downstairs has its' own independent section of the house with its own entrance, toilet and shower and kitchenette. The bedroom has a California king size bed and opens with sliding door windows to its own little terrace. This ¨east wing¨of the house also has its own sitting area with a piano and a futon that can serve as both a couch and a bed for two. Here too, there's an outside morning coffee nook. Should one need to sleep more people, there's an upstairs deep couch/day bed as well as a folding guest bed in storage. There's a blow-up mattress available as well. For extra sleeping room, we also have our camper parked on the property :)! The ¨east wing¨ closes off and works independently of the main section. It has its own entrance, , a deck t The master bedroom functions as your own private spa with an oversized bathtub. So, after a relaxing bath, you can roll straight out of and into bed! In the master bed, you also have a view of an expansive field - and also a glimpse through the trees of the nearby ocean. Enjoy an open kitchen to the two-story living room, for chatting with your guests while you cook. House amenities: washer, dryer, Wi-Fi, self-check-in, parking, laptop-friendly workspace, indoor as well as outdoor showers, bathtub, hair dryer, acoustic piano, toys, boardgames, and a long dining table seating 10+ people but expandable out onto decks on either side. The windows lining both sides of the living room fold away to give an inside-outside ¨cabana¨ feeling. For outside play, there's a big lawn for soccer, the local game of ¨kubb¨, among other things. You’re welcome to use the bikes as well as the bike trailer for biking excursions. All outside toys can be find in or by the workshop / storage . The house also has a wrap-around deck and a large gas barbecue. The big field adjoining the house makes for both privacy and the feeling of spacious surroundings. The house isn't on a through-way street, so traffic is limited to residents, the postman and the weekly visit from the ice-cream van :)! Included in your stay: bath robes and slippers, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and tea. Because the house is still newly built, we’re still outfitting it. Let us know anything you’d like us to add! We ask our guests to leave house in the shape they found it. You're expected to pick up after yourself and sort out any games or toys used. As far as cleaning before leaving, you can do it yourself, but cleaning service is available upon request. Guest access Main house, workshop/storage, camper Other things to note Due to the shortage of laundry and cleaning help on Gotland currently, we're currently not able to provide bed linens and bath towels without charge. With the summer getting fully booked and the guest change-overs happening in the same day, this is a necessary but hopefully temporary change. So you'll have to bring your own.
