Small apartment in an old silk factory, combining the charm of the old and modern comforts. A balcony with relaxing views of the garden, the roofs of the sheds and the hill, invites you to extend summer evenings or enjoy a quiet breakfast. Enjoy the barbecue and the part of the garden at your disposal for pleasant outdoor dining. As well as the small above-ground pool that allows children to cool off and offers parents a relaxing break. Parking. The space The apartment is accessed via an old stone staircase. This is the former hayloft of the silk mill. It is located above what were the stables and the wine cellar. It consists of a bedroom with a 140 bed, a dresser and a bedroom with two 90 beds and a very large closet. The kitchen area has an induction cooktop, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a combined oven and a fridge/freezer. The living room area has a sofa, table with benches and TV. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, and the toilet is in it but separated by a partition. Located in the village 500 m from the center (post office, bakery, Coccimarket, medical offices, pharmacy...). There is a market on Thursday mornings and Saturday mornings. A sports trail, a city park and children's play areas. Close to Anduze, its Bambouseraie and its little steam train. 10 km from Alès. The location of the apartment allows you to explore this beautiful region to discover many places such as Sauve, Uzès, Nîmes, Pont du Gard (rivers, historic villages, caves...), and its history (visit the mines, museums...) or simply to relax... Greenways that can be taken on foot or by bike allow for beautiful walks. Guest access The apartment and its balcony are entirely dedicated to you as well as part of the garden with barbecue. Guests of the apartment and guest room can enjoy the small above-ground pool, which is very nice for cooling off during hot weather. Other things to note We created this apartment in a former hayloft which is an outbuilding of the Mas. We tried to keep as much as possible its characteristics related to the habitat of the time and its function while providing comfort. This makes it a very warm little apartment.
