The space Wild Rock Cottage is a comfortable home that is built on a beautiful mountainside. Imagine driving down a country lane to a cottage in the woodland. The cottage is nestled on two acres on a quiet peaceful street conveniently located between Brevard and Hendersonville, NC. There is a large porch with handcrafted rhododendron railing where you can eat meals outside, have your morning coffee, soak in the hot tub, or just enjoy relaxing in the mountain air. Enjoy the peaceful view of the woods, with longer range views during the winter months. In the summer you’ll relish the chance to take refuge from the heat of the city while enjoying the wild rhododendron and mountain laurel. In spring millions of wildflowers bloom. Fall has cool nights and brilliant autumn color. For those who prefer to relax indoors, we have new HDTVs with cable in the living room and both bedrooms. We also have a full kitchen and full laundry amenities for your convenience. If your wish is to FISH, the cottage is located minutes from the Davidson River, Elm Fork, Pisgah National Forest, and DuPont State Forest, which are all world renowned for the fishing available. The French Broad River has canoe launch access just down the street. We are near a major scenic BIKE ROUTE. Photography, swimming, hiking, fishing, shopping, scenic drives, and rides are all available minutes away. Historic Hendersonville and quaint downtown Brevard have many super restaurants that range from family friendly casual to upscale gourmet.
