Fruit and Wine Byway Adventure

Bearfoot BNB: Local experience in the middle of fruit and wine country, our home is spacious and inviting. We are an active couple with helpful insights to the multitude of activities in the Grand Valley! The space 45 minutes from Powderhorn and Grand Mesa; GJT Regional Airport 20 minutes. Casual...nothing too fancy but very homey. This room is upstairs where the main living space is located. If you are happy to interact with your hosts, this is the best room. We have two rooms rented separately in the house, in case you need more space. Common areas of the house in the upstairs are the living room, dining room, upper deck and breakfast bar. Common areas in the downstairs are the exercise space, family room with tv, and movie room. We don't accept guests with pets, but we are not pet free, as our daughter has a dog that visits occasionally. Guest access We have a fun movie room to enjoy an evening of low key entertainment, we might even join you! Our exercise space is available for your fitness needs. We have free weights and a tv with many videos to keep you in shape during your stay. There are plenty of outdoor spaces for you to enjoy while you are here. We have a covered deck with lots of space, a covered patio, outdoor fire pit, and there are miles of country roads to enjoy by walking or biking at your leisure. During your stay Two professionals (and empty nesters) are excited to meet new people and are willing to visit with you and suggest activities. Of course if you are more of the solitary type, just let us know and we will be happy to give you space. We work full-time and are active in many things so we might also be too busy to visit at times. Other things to note House Rules: Please remember, our BNB is also our home. We expect our guests to be respectful of our rules and where we live. 1. You must read and agree to ALL these rules. 2. PETS: We don't accept guests with pets, but we are not pet free, as our daughter has a dog that visits occasionally. 3. Conserve natural resource and turn off lights when not in use. 4. Shoes off please, since we are in the country dirt is tracked inside easily. We have geothermal, so during hot & cold months the windows must remain closed. 5. Bathrooms: Septic system here, so nothing in toilets but body fluids and TP-no tampons etc. Squeege water off shower doors. 6. Kitchen: We don't offer the use of the kitchen/laundry. There will be some space for you to add cold items to the fridge or freezer. You can use ice for drinks but not for coolers; if needed, McDonalds 4 miles away has 10 lbs ice for $1. We have 2 fire pits that are great for roasting. You are welcome to use plates, cups, and silverware. 7. No smoking indoors and pick up your butts when smoking outdoors. 8. Drug-free and if you bring marijuana please keep it in your vehicle so it won't leave odors for the next guest. 9. Unregistered guests by prior request only please. 10. Quiet hours after 11pm. 11.Receiving mail at our address, or use of our mailing address for applications is strictly prohibited.
