Way Out Wonder Desert Escape

Cozy desert hideaway with cosmic cowgirl charm. 1 bed / 1 bath + pull-out, outdoor bathtub, hot tub, cowboy pool, grill, and fire pit. Fully fenced 2.5 acres. This quiet Wonder Valley escape is just 5 minutes from The Palms bar/restaurant. 20 mins to the less crowded Utah Trail entrance to JTNP, shops and eateries. The space KEY FEATURES: Insta- @way.out.wonder I’d love it if you’d follow and tag us in any cute pics you take during your trip :) Check-in at 4:00 p.m., checkout at 11:00 a.m. Fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee Outdoor fire pit Hot tub Outdoor bathtub Cowboy pool Lots of outdoor seating areas including dining table, lounge chairs, etc. Fenced 2.5-acre property KITCHEN / DINING / LIVING SPACE: The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, spices, olive oil, serving utensils, etc. There is a microwave, toaster, drip coffee pot, and pour-over coffee setup. You’ll find a small bar area and a dining table as well. The living room has a TV with streaming, a DVD player with a few movies, a record player, and board games. SLEEPING: 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a pull-out sofa bed as well as a twin lounge bed. OUTDOORS: So much to do! Enjoy 3 different soaking options: the outdoor bathtub, hot tub, and cowboy pool. There is a small wood chiminea near the loungers and a propane fire pit further out. You’ll also find a dartboard, horseshoes, and a cute wooden yoga deck big enough for two mats. HEATING / COOLING: The house has 2 mini-split A/C units (with heating, too) to keep you perfectly comfortable. HELPFUL INFO: I recommend bringing groceries as the nearest store (Dollar General) is about 15 minutes away, and Stater Bros. is about 20 minutes. Way Out Wonder is just that… way out! So be prepared to enjoy some peace and quiet while still being a 20-minute drive to the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park (via the less crowded North entrance). Absolutely no smoking indoors. Please do not smoke anything inside the house. The house is on a septic system, so please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Thank you! PETS: If you choose to bring your furry friend, just keep an eye on them. Although the property is fully fenced, there are coyotes in the area. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. If fur is found on beds and/or furniture, fees start at $100 for extra cleaning time and effort. For obvious reasons, only potty-trained dogs are allowed. CHECK-IN: Easy keyless entry. You can arrive anytime after 4:00 p.m. and check yourself in. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. GUEST ACCESS: You will be driving down a well-maintained dirt road for about 1.5 miles. Four-wheel drive is not necessary. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Please no loud noise or parties. Due to sound carrying in the desert, quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to be mindful of our neighbors.
