Window A/C units and a washer and dryer make longer stays simple. Outdoors, relax on the wraparound deck, gather around the fire pit, or grill on the charcoal barbecue. A covered patio and large yard offer plenty of space to unwind and play. The location puts you minutes from the mineral springs, spas, shops, and restaurants, with Cacapon State Park and scenic hiking trails nearby. It’s a cozy spot to unwind and chat with locals and the best part is you can walk back to the chalet from there!. 3. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 3 mins): One of the most famous attractions in the area. Known for its natural warm springs, the park features historic bathhouses where you can relax in mineral-rich waters. The park also has lovely walking paths, a gazebo, and a beautiful pond. 4. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 10 mins): Hiking, picnicking, and stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. It’s an excellent place for outdoor activities like hiking, golf, and wildlife watching. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, the park’s Cacapon Mountain trail provides an excellent hike with panoramic views. 5.
