Enjoy a tranquil stay at our peaceful self contained lower unit facing Grand Lake! Sit on the patio or in your living room and see the birds flying over the water, enjoy the tree leaves rustling, squirrels jumping around with your favorite cup of coffee/wine. If you wanted to fish or relax on the water, you can walk down the stairs to sit at the table or on the larger covered floating dock. Get away from it all relax in the peace and quiet of the outdoors, with a birds eye view of the lake. The space Fully self contained lower unit one bedroom, full kitchen, living room, full bath with your own private entrance. Interior decorated as a cabin with awesome views of Grand Lake. You are in the lower unit located on the backside of the house facing the lake. Upstairs unit and garage are used by the owner Bill, when he is not traveling. The space is set up with all the convinces of home. Kurig coffee, pans, plates, iron, desk, TV, hot tub, fire pit, few sitting areas to view the lake from on high! Guest access You have your designated lower unit with private entrance on back of the house. Shared access to large patio right outside your door, with one grill, hot tub, and three seating areas to enjoy your view of the lake and wildlife. Shared only by owner that lives in upper unit and travels frequently. Other amenities are a fire pit with seating 40 feet to the left of the patio, and the large covered marina at the bottom of the 51 stairs walkway. At the marina you can sit and enjoy the water, fish, or kayak! (note get paddles and life jackets in plastic storage shed located at the bottom of the steps before you "walk the plank" to the marina. Other things to note Note the driveway is gravel and steep. Take it slow going down and take care backing up from your private parking spot. You can back up your car 30 feet to the cleared spot to ensure to get a straight approach to going up the driveway to exit. (do not back up the driveway) There are plenty of trees so be ware there will be leaves, squirrels, bugs...you are in the outdoors. Recommended to stay on the white rock path to the fire pit. Best walking is on the quiet street, which is a circle. About a mile circle walk. The owner lives upstairs, but he travels a lot. Life is a great adventure! Enjoy your stay!
