It is situated in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal – a place where people live in harmony with nature. 140 m² divided into: 1rst floor (ceiling height 1.95 m): wood-paneled living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom. 2nd floor (ceiling height 1.88 m): one bedroom, a connected room with two sleeping areas (one with two single beds and one with a double bed). Arrive, feel at home, and unwind. The space Feel at home like in the old days – with today’s comforts 🏡 Ancient wooden beams, lovingly preserved paneling, and the traditional shingle façade give this rustic farmhouse a truly warm and cozy atmosphere. You can feel the history of the house the moment you step inside – while at the same time feeling completely at ease and at home. The crackling tiled stove in the wood-paneled living room is the heart of the house. On cool evenings, there’s nothing better than curling up on the warm stove bench and enjoying its comforting heat. The modern, newly designed kitchen features an extra-long wooden table – perfect for sharing meals, laughter, and good times. Whether it’s a cozy fondue, raclette, or a traditional “Brettljause,” everything you need is provided, and the dishwasher takes care of the rest. As the sun sets, a wooden bench in front of the house invites you to unwind while taking in breathtaking views over the Großes Walsertal, the Walgau, and the stunning Rätikon mountains – a place to pause and simply be. Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy room with games, books, and a TV – ideal for quiet moments. And if you’re feeling active, a table tennis setup in the former barn offers some fun and movement. Good to know: Ceiling height is approx. 2 m on the lower floor and 1.90 m on the upper floor – typical for a historic house and part of its unique charm. Out of consideration for guests with allergies, we unfortunately cannot accommodate dogs. The local municipality charges a guest tax of €3.10 per person (aged 14 and over), payable on site. In return, you will receive the Großes Walsertal Guest Card, which includes many benefits such as free use of public transportation, free entry to swimming pools, and complimentary use of the cable car in Sonntag. I’m happy to assist you with all formalities so you can start your stay relaxed and carefree.
