Welcome to Elderado’s 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom A-frame retreat in Berkeley, Ontario. Located in the heart of Grey Country and central to many wonderful attractions. This getaway offers you access to many wonderful activities while maintaining a quiet and peaceful vacation spot. There’s something to do all four seasons of the year! After your summer outing, curl up in a loft chair with a good book. After your winter skiing adventure, turn on the two fireplaces or relax in the soaker tub. The space This 3 bedroom A-frame features a loft with a queen sized bed. 2 additional bedrooms with queen size beds and sliding doors to gain access to the deck. There are also 2 comfortable couches that can convert to queen sized beds. There’s 25 acres for you to access via short walking loops, which are also great for snowshoeing in the winter (loaner snowshoes included!). Three seasons of the year, you are also welcome to use the large outdoor fire pit. Full kitchen, laundry facilities, two fireplaces, soaker tub and two showers are all on site. There is additional 25 acres of crown land adjacent to our property. This area can also be explored at your leisure. Guest access Guests have full access to the building, which is on the same property as the owner’s home. There is shared access to the walking trails and shared driveway access. However, the building is located approximately 75 meters from the main house. The property has smart locks and codes will be sent to guests in advance of their bookings. This way you can easily check in and out on your own schedule. Other things to note We are located in the middle of everywhere! With the CP Rail Trail snowmobile trail / ATV trail right across the road (Snowmobiles and ATVs are welcome to park on site), it is also just 10 minutes to the town of Markdale, 24 minutes to Beaver Valley Ski Club, 25 minutes to Owen Sound, 44 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort, 50 minutes to Collingwood, and 1 hour and 40 minutes to Tobermory. Local attractions include: wineries, cideries, ski resorts, cross country skiing trails, hiking, Roxy Theatre, Story Book Park (for the kids! Just 20 minutes away), local museums, beaches, shopping, etc. Our dog Cedar loves to explore the woods and his boundaries are set with a GPS collar. He is extremely friendly, but if for any reason you aren't looking for friends, please let the hosts know. The boundaries are always set back from the rental property, but can be adjusted instantly to give you some extra space if desired.
