Our houses are in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park which earned it the title of World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Original stone and wood house with 2 floors, built taking into account the original features of the land of Peneda, with 1 private bedroom, a cozy living room, 1 sleeping couch for two people and a sleeping bunk for the kids, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Find out more in: www.penedino.pt The space Our house is located in the center of the little town of Peneda, only 100 meters from the Sanctuary and with a beautiful river running in the back, where you can lay down during summer time and enjoy the clean water. There is also a parking lot for you to safely leave your car during your stay. From Peneda you can take your car and visit Lamas de Mouro (10 km), Soajo (25 km), Melgaço (27 km) or Castro Laboreiro (16,5 km). If you don't have time to go beyond this area, Peneda has plenty to see, from trails to rural paths that connect different villages. There are streams and waterfalls everywhere - one even flows through our own back yard (check in the pictures :D) Take your time to enjoy nature, in a place where time moves slowly :) Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire house, the garden in the back of the house and the parking lot without extra fees.
