At this cabin you live right by nature, great hiking trails, ski center with activities in summer and winter, short way to shops and city. The cabin is located in a cabin village with quiet and good neighbors. Perfect place to find peace. Families with children are welcome, but there are no safety measures for small children with gates on stairs, etc. There are toys, some toys, games, and drawing materials available. There are 8 beds and it can accommodate 2 families, but it is best for 6 people around the table. Max 6 adults. The space The cabin consists of an open living room and kitchen solution, hallway, bathroom and two bedrooms downstairs. On the 2nd floor there are two bedrooms, one of which is a good size and has a TV that you can connect to a PC for movie viewing. Wi-Fi. Bedroom 1 downstairs has a 140 cm bed. Bedroom 2 downstairs has a 160 cm double bed. Bedroom 3 upstairs has two single beds. Bedroom 4 upstairs has 3 single beds. NOTE: Steep stairs. Not a wheelchair-friendly cabin. At the back of the cabin there is a fire pan that can be used as a charcoal grill and a seating area. On the front there is a stool and two sun loungers. The cabin is a perfect starting point for walks to e.g. Korset, Kongens Gruve, Knutehytta, historical Gruveåsen etc. In summer there are walks to several nice bathing waters. There is also Frisbee golf right by the ski resort. Skimore Kongsberg offers a lift for bicycles and if you want to get quickly into great hiking trails. In winter it is 100 meters to walk from the cabin to the ski slope and about 600 meters to cross-country skiing tracks. Ski resort/Skimore Kongsberg. The silver mines and Kongsberg Golf are also nearby. From the cabin it is about 10 minutes drive to Kongsberg city and is a nice starting point if you are going to attend Kongsberg Agenda, Kongsberg Jazz, visit family or just experience Kongsberg. Guest access Access to the entire cabin. Other things to note There are two TVs there, they are not connected to TV channels. But there is an HDMI cable that can be connected to your laptop to watch movies or series from a website you have access to. There are two bags of firewood stacked inside the cabin that are included. Use beyond this is to be purchased by yourself.
