Completed in July 2024 by award-winning Design Tribe Projects, this environmentally sustainable cabin is 100% off-grid. It features rainwater tanks, septic system, solar power, and batteries, double glazing, and triple insulation, boasting a 7.3-star NatHERS rating. Our favorite walk starts at the British Admiral’s beach car park, leading south along private beaches. The kitchen is designed to highlight King Island’s world-class produce, featuring an extra-large dining table with amazing views. The cabin’s design respects the natural landscape, maintaining as much of the existing flora and fauna as possible across the 15-hectare property. Stay connected with Starlink Internet, as phone reception on the island is limited to Telstra. Layout Ideal for 2-4 guests, the cabin features two spacious bedrooms at each end, both with king-size beds, ensuites, ample storage, and stunning views. An open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area connects the bedrooms, complete with a wood fire. Additional guests can be accommodated in the living area with a sofa bed and extra linens. Guest Access Guests have exclusive use of the fully self-contained cabin. One of two cabins on the property, it ensures complete privacy. Access details will be provided before your stay.
