A place to find peace, for inner healing, to rest or simply for vacations. I would like to open my house to kind and trustworthy people who appreciate the importance of a simple life. It's a rural property on a hill in Åbogen, with great views out over the Foldafjord. The property is an old small farm and therefore has several buildings some of which are old. Only the main home itself is open to receive guests for one night or for a longer period of stay. The space NB: THIS PAGE IS FOR ONE BEDROOM ONLY. DO YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE BEDROOM, Graceland offers: 4 bedrooms in which: - 2 have double size beds, (2 x2 = 4 persons) - 1 bedroom with a single bed (1 person) - 1 bedroom with a child-size bed only. (1 child) The standard of the house is simple but clean. Here the new and the old are mixed intentionally. For example a completely renovated room BUT with an old door. There's a grill house outside open during grilling season. One toilet (WC & shower) Sitting room / Kitchen / TV The house has a direct view of a fjord with big mountains around. The sound of a river nearby is soothing. Nature here is really amazing! It offers many activities like fishing, kayaking, hiking, thousands of islands, hidden coves and idyllic sandy beaches invite you to active holidays. Hiking, biking, climbing, farm experiences, nature safaris, and wildlife experiences, boat, and water adventures, winter experiences are some of the activities you can do while staying here or you can simply rest! Here, my guests and I, we live like within a family. You wake up when you want and cook the food you want. I will gladly go grocery shopping for you in exchange for a small budget and you cook the meal that pleases you. There's wifi. The focus here is inner peace and that's why I chose not to have a TV subscription. There's a TV screen where to cast videos from services like Netflix or YouTube. The country of the midnight sun. During summertime, the daylight is long and the night very short. I warmly recommend this place to all the beautiful hearts out there. You are warmly welcome!
