Situated in a peaceful position in the village of Carhampton in Somerset, Spaniel Cottage is the perfect central location for either a coastal or countryside break. It is ideal for exploring all that the area has to offer. The village of Carhampton is close to many beautiful villages, the beach, the coastal path, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Dunster Castle, Dunster Deer Park and Exmoor National Park. A little further away is the Quantocks. Minehead shops are a short car or bus ride away. The space Spaniel Cottage is full of home comforts making it a super choice for an amazing get away in a peaceful and tranquil environment. Just right for relaxing and enjoying all that the area has to offer. Once you’ve arrived and parked up in the private parking area you can make your way into Spaniel Cottage to enjoy everything that it has to offer. Including WiFi, Sky TV and Netflix. There is a wonderful open plan stylish living space to welcome you. Along with a wood burning stove to enjoy when settling down for the evening and an electric Aga for those who enjoy cooking. At the back of the cottage there is a stable door to a small enclosed courtyard with views to the deer park and Exmoor National Park beyond. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the evening sunshine. To the front there is a garden with a patio for enjoying the daytime sunshine or relax in the summerhouse whatever the weather. When your day of exploring draws to a close and you make your way upstairs you will find two delightful bedrooms, a double and a twin. There is also a modern walk in shower room with a power shower. A holiday to Spaniel Cottage is perfect any time of year. Guest access Whole cottage Other things to note We allow 1 well behaved dog and will consider 2 small dogs on request. Dogs cannot be left alone in the cottage. Puppies under 12 months must be in a puppy crate over night when unattended. The lane (marked private) to the cottage is a short single lane wide enough for large commercial vans. It is not a busy lane as only services 5 cottages and is set back off the main road making it a very peaceful location.
