Welcome to the Viking farm Sygard Listad. Here you live on historic grounds. The Viking king Olav the Holy lived here in 1021, to prepare the battle against the king of Gudbrandsdalen. This happened during the Christianization of Norway. On the farm you will find the holy well "Olavskilden". Driving distance to Oslo is 250 km and the same to Trondheim. Here you can go skiing in Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, Jotunheimen National Park or Rondane. In summer you can see Peer Gynt, go on a musk ox safari or a day trip to Geiranger. The space Drengestugu is a house for itself, in the yard on the farm. On the farm, Liv and Finn live with their children Ragnhild, 18, and Inga, 16. Grandparents live in the union house just above the farm. All the houses on the farm are made of timber, including the drengestugu. There is underfloor heating and a small oven/fireplace. Outdoor furniture and barbecue are available. Guest access Guests live in a separate house on the farm, but can use the garden. Private parking space. Other things to note It is a short distance to winter experiences. 15 min drive to cross-country and alpine slopes, Gålå, Venabygdsfjellet, Kvitfjell and Hafjell. In summer, Hunderfossen family park is 30 away. The Pilgrim's Way passes right outside the living room door. The village of Ringebu with Ringebu stave church and vicarage. One hour to Lillehammer.
