If you are travelling as a family or small group, this bedroom is positioned next to our twin bedroom with adjoining bathroom - ideal to stay close together but have privacy. From here you can see the gardens through the beautiful old mullion windows. The grounds are available for your use. feel free to sit outside, enjoy the communal lounge, if there are other guests staying, or privately if not. Enjoy the fishing lake with it's multiple seating areas, wildlife and birdlife - a perfect setting! Your host Graham, and his lovely 11 year old chocolate labrador, have their own space within the property. There is a dining room, fishing lake and even a hot tub (bookable in advance), or can be arranged whilst staying for longer stays. Brookhouse Grange - a serene environment for spiritual retreats, a great place for reflection, meditation and rejuvenation, with plenty of outdoor spaces. test your skill on the putting green or challenge each other with a game of tennis. A Unique country house, dating back to the mid 1800's, with a fishing lake, large gardens, tennis court, putting green, lovely walks and a bookable rustic hot tub, nestled in the grounds. Attracting anglers, walkers, bird watchers and city escapers looking for a quiet, 'next to nature' relaxing break. Brookhouse is just 400 metres to Halifax golf club, which extends a warm invitation to Non- residents , offering a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the sport, amidst picturesque surroundings. We are walking distance to The moorlands Inn and The Causeway Foot inn where you are in for a local culinary treat. Nearby historical landmarks, such as The Piece Hall, in the centre of Halifax, with it's ever growing list of concerts, events and weekly markets. Visit Shibden Hall- immortalised by the t.v series 'Gentleman Jack', and the setting for 'Happy Valley', and the 'Last Tango in Halifax' with it's ever changing hills and valleys that make up this unique landscape of West Yorkshire. Hebden Bridge and Howarth (Home to the Bronte Sisters), and the famous cobbled street of shops and inns. Salts Mill is a beautiful building, which is a historical site, having been restored and put to modern day use - must see! The market town of Skipton, with it's castle and regular street market, is just over half an hour away. Brookhouse grange is a perfect stopover en-route to the Gateway of the Dales. There is free parking, just outside Brookhouse Grange, and you will have the warmest of welcomes from Graham and Harvey.
