Take a moment to study the triangular Bleiks Island, where you'll also find puffin colonies. You can also enjoy the view of the green-clad mountain Røyken. This is a perfect place to watch the midnight sun. In the winter, the beach is covered with a sparkling white blanket of snow. At this time of year, the beach is a perfect place to watch the northern lights. You can count on seeing this spectacular natural phenomenon between September and March – although it cannot be guaranteed. Head to the marina to see a collection of colorful fishing boats. From June to August you can go on boat trips to Bleiks Island to see thousands of puffins. Other bird races you can spot are cattle, alke, and sea eagles.
