The space Although not technically an island, you can only get to us by boat. We are 5 minutes by boat from the busy streets of Rio Dulce set right in the heart of a monkey preserve. Since the house is connected to a hotel with a bar and restaurant, guests can enjoy our delicious always fresh food. Guests also have the option of renting paddle boards, kayaks, swimming in the pool, getting a massage or just lounging in your own private living room. Tours to Playa Blanca, Castillo San Felipe, Siete Altares or Livingston are also available for an additional cost. Guest access We offer parking off site from the hotel. For Q50 per 24 hr period, we offer a secured and gated parking area at the Karlitas Restaurant located on the east side of the bridge just after the Shell gas station. Other things to note We also don’t allow cooking onsite. The risk of fire is too great given our building materials. We ask that all meals be eaten in our kitchen. Food in the rooms also attracts ants and termites.
