Rosella Cottage is situated on 6 acres of manicured lawns, rustic walking tracks and an abundance of wildlife. On the southern end of Atherton Tablelands we are within easy access of all local tourist attractions. Pet friendly and self-contained is a bonus. Watch platypus from your private balcony. A fully enclosed puppy park on site will allow you to give your furry friend a great run. Continental breakfast homemade bread and muesli is included with all bookings. Your hosts live on site The space Imagine sitting on your private balcony, sipping an ice-cold beer or a glass of wine, watching the platypus frolic in the river with your best mate at your feet. Imagine no more, this is reality when you check into our “paws friendly” cottage. Enter your magical world with the privacy and relaxation that you have been waiting for. No other guests in sight just the river lapping at your doorstep and the sound of the birds calling each other. Enjoy getting up close and personal with the wildlife that live on the river including platypus, water dragons, wild birds and assorted fish right from the comfort of your private balcony. All that you could need is provided in your new home for the night. Your cottage is equipped with toaster, kettle, coffee machine, egg cooker, fridge, convection microwave, turbo cooker and bbq. You may wish to grab a bbq pack and do your own thing or for the true romantic evening book into our onsite restaurant and be personally waited on. For a great start to the evening wander through the grounds to the Games Bar and enjoy a cocktail and a game of pool while waiting for your evening meal to be prepared. After wining and dining follow the track back to your private oasis. With no mobile reception or wifi in your cottage this is a wonderful way to make the most of that total get away from the rest of the world. Unplug and enjoy each others company. Relax in the spa bath and then lounge in the complimentary robe provided for you while you watch a movie (great range to choose from), munch on hot popcorn, sip port or just enjoy that mug of piping hot chocolate. Then slip into your king size bed for a comfort plus nights sleep. What a great way to spend a weekend. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage for your private use. You will also have access to the walking tracks and fire pits that are scattered around the grounds. You will not have access to other buildings/cottages as they are also for private use. There is a restaurant, games room and day spa on site for you to take advantage of for an extra cost to your room rate (pre-booking is a must). Other things to note There are often other guests on the property. Their privacy is as important as yours, so we ask that you please respect this.
