In the locality of Le Fornaci, in the Amiata municipality of Arcidosso and a stone's throw from Castel del Piano, is the Castello delle Fornaci. There, where an ancient farmhouse stood in the early 1700s, surrounded by the greenery of vegetable gardens and orchards, the Agriturismo Castello delle Fornaci looks like a tiny village, where the atmosphere, the view and the ancient materials used for the restoration are the perfect ingredients for a stay of exclusive charm. A renovation faithful to the canons of Tuscan buildings of the time, careful to use old materials for the arrangement of external and internal environments, has allowed us to preserve the original style and that old and welcoming charm typically Tuscan. The old farmhouse has in fact been renovated in such a way as to maintain its agricultural vocation, simplicity and style, meticulously reconstructing the parts damaged by time, often using the original materials.
