Mariehuset on Eggum in Lofoten

On the outer side of Vestvågøy, alone between the sea and mountains, lies a cozy little Nordland house on Eggum. Here there are good opportunities to experience the midnight sun in the summer, and many mountain trips in the immediate vicinity. It is about 10-15 min to Lofotr Viking Museum, about 30 min to Leknes, about 1 hour drive to Svolvær and about an hour and a half to Moskenes and Å. The space The house has been renovated recently; bathroom, kitchen and living rooms (see pictures). The second floor has two bedrooms; one with a double bed, and the other with a double bed and a single bed. The third "bedroom" is actually a hallway to one of the bedrooms, but has a double bed for use. Bed linen is included in the price. The bathroom is tiled and with heating cables, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher and coffee maker. The fridge is in the hallway. Frying pan, pots and kitchen utensils are available. There are two living rooms in the house, one of which has a TV. It has no channels, but a chrome cast that can be used (Netflix, Viaplay, HBO Nordic, YouTube, etc.) Free WiFi. Parking space at the back of the house, with access to outdoor furniture. Other things to note Cleaning fee of 1000,- is in addition, regardless of price. This is because we do not live in Lofoten, and have hired a company to take care of the cleaning so that the house is always presentable for the next visit. If desired, bicycles can also be rented at Lofoten Rental Hub (the company that cleans for us).
