This private double room is part of MY WAY Guesthouse, located directly on the main beach of M’Pai Bay, Koh Rong Sanloem. This upstairs room has a sea view and is equipped with a fan, a mosquito net and a private bathroom with hot shower in an open layout. Breakfast is available on request and can be enjoyed on the beach. Please note that access to the upstairs rooms is via steep wooden stairs. The space Seaview Room with Hot Shower – MY WAY Beach House, M’Pai Bay Welcome to MY WAY, a simple and charming wooden beach house located directly on the sand in the seaside village of M’Pai Bay, on Koh Rong Sanloem island. This room (Room 2) is located upstairs, with a lovely sea view and its own private bathroom with a hot shower – the only room in the house with hot water. Sometimes the bar after the bridge next door is having music until late and can sometimes bother our guests The house has 4 private bedrooms and a few shared spaces including: A covered terrace facing the sea Pillows and mats to relax on the beach just a few steps away Fan and mosquito net in each room For everyone’s comfort, guests do not have access to the kitchen, but we are always happy to help you with anything you may need. In the evening, we prepare and serve seafood barbecues ourselves, according to the catch of the day. Breakfast is available on request, to be ordered the day before and enjoyed on the beach. We also offer a selection of cocktails and refreshing drinks. Check-in is done with us on site, and we are happy to welcome you personally. The house is rustic and full of charm. It’s not luxury, but it’s authentic, peaceful, and located in an exceptional beachfront setting. The house is built in a traditional wooden style, so walls are not completely soundproof and light sounds from other rooms may be heard at times Perfect for travelers looking for a simple, local experience in a small island village surrounded by nature. Guest access Guests have access to: • Their private room and private bathroom • A covered shared terrace downstairs • The beach directly in front of the house You can explore the island on foot: • Long Beach is about a 10-minute walk away • From there, trails lead to Clearwater Beach and other spots • A natural pool above the village can sometimes be filled after heavy rain, but it is not always available The village has several restaurants and bars open year-round. We will invite you to join a local Foodie & Info group where travelers and residents share tips, events and recommendations. There is no Wi-Fi, but Smart and Cellcard provide good mobile data coverage. Check-in is done with us on site, and we are happy to welcome you personally. During your stay I’m living between the island and Phnom Penh, Sometimes I’m not there in person, but you can always reach me by phone if needed. Our kind Khmer neighbor will welcome you on arrival and show you around the house. We’ll do our best to make sure you have a wonderful stay in M’Pai Bay. To reach M’Pai Bay, you’ll need to take a speedboat from Sihanoukville. Other things to note ABOUT THE VILLAGE M’Pai Bay is a small, authentic seaside village on the island of Koh Rong Sanloem, Cambodia. It is known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beaches, friendly locals and strong community spirit. It’s the perfect place to unwind, explore nature and enjoy a more local and peaceful island experience. You can swim right in front of the house, collect shells or walk to nearby beaches such as Long Beach and Clearwater Bay. The village has several restaurants and bars open year-round and is also a popular destination for divers thanks to its colorful coral reefs and marine life. At night, when the sky is dark, you may see glowing plankton in the water, stars shining brightly and longtail boats lighting up the horizon. M’Pai Bay is not just a place, it’s a feeling — a quiet escape for those seeking authenticity, connection and nature. Many come for a few days… and end up never wanting to leave. ⸻ THE HOUSE Enjoy the beach just in front of the house with lounges, tables and pillows provided for your comfort. A few outdoor lights and a bonfire pit are available to create a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. ⸻ THE BEACH The beach right in front of the house is clean and safe for swimming and snorkeling. You can walk about 10 minutes to Long Beach or hike around 45 minutes to the beautiful Clearwater Bay. At night, if it is dark enough, you may see glowing plankton in the water — a truly magical experience. (Our neighbor rents masks and snorkels for $1 per day.) ⸻ GROCERIES We recommend buying your groceries in the village. You will find small local shops and a mini-mart called WinWin, open daily until midnight. ⸻ CLEANING Your room is prepared before your arrival. Daily cleaning is not provided by default. If you would like your room to be cleaned during your stay, simply let us know and we will arrange it for you. ⸻ LAUNDRY Laundry service is available for $1.50 per kilo. Please ask our staff and allow 24 to 36 hours for return. ⸻ MONEY There is no ATM on the island. Please bring enough cash with you. ABA is widely accepted, and you can also withdraw cash at the WinWin mini-mart for a small fee. ⸻ INTERNET There is no Wi-Fi in the house or on the island. We recommend buying a local SIM card with Smart or Cellcard, both of which provide good mobile data coverage.i
