You will be communicating directly with owners and local staff. You will be the only occupants of this property during your stay. Sleeping accommodations for 4 guests include a queen bed and twin bunk beds. A self-inflating air mattress is available for 2 additional guests. A complete gourmet kitchen is available for family and holiday dining. For dining, CBC offers bar seating, family dining table, or outdoor dining on the deck. The living room has couch seating and a TV connected to the Internet to access Netflix, etc. There is no cable TV or game console so take this opportunity to unplug a little. We raised our family there so you can be sure that all the important things are provided like board games, DVDs, crib, gates, high chair, life vests for swimming, basket ball, tennis rackets, etc. Repeat guests may have access to our canoe, kayaks, and golf clubs, etc. There is so much to do and such a vast area to explore, our ideal guests come year after year for their family vacation. The only room that is not available is the homeowner's private bedroom which is locked. Please respect our privacy. There is no access provided to the outdoor shed unless pre-arranged with owners. No creepy management company! You will be communicating directly with owners and local staff. You will be the only occupants of this property during your stay. Once your request is approved, you will receive a welcome letter detailing access codes and house rules. These are practical such as don't wear shoes in the house and clean up details before you leave. Your prior AirBnB experience and resourcefulness is essential - be prepared. Cell phone service is spotty and drops off quickly once you leave the area. The owners will be available through the AirBnB texting platform. There are local residents contracted by the homeowner to assist with immediate problems should anything serious arise. Please do not remove anything from the cabin as future guests may need the flashlight or walkie talkies, or park pass, paddles, etc. Please play fair. Please keep in mind that as much as we try to keep Cinnamon Bear Cabin immaculate for each guest, do not lose perspective that this is a cabin in the woods on the border of complete wilderness. In order to book Cinnamon Bear Cabin, we have three non-negotiable requirements. 1. Responsible guest must be over 21 years old. 2. a government issued ID must be in file with AirBnB, 3. You must have a minimum of 2 prior positive reviews CBC is not suitable for novice travelers. There is a very good reason for each of the house rules (stated in the welcome letter) based on years of experience in the safe and enjoyable interaction with nature and the surrounding community. You will need to be respectful of your surroundings, experienced with natural hazards, and resourceful in your interaction with the home and surrounding natural environment. You may need to wake the house up upon arrival, sweep the deck on a windy day, or you may encounter insects and other natural wildlife. While there is neighborhood security, Fire Department/EMT, and search and rescue, there is no concierge service so please do your research before arriving. If requested, a local tour guide may be available. There will be other neighbors and campers also trying to enjoy their experience of nature. I am confident that you will find a truly relaxing and stress free vacation with little or no crowds, friendly people, amazing views, and splendid wildlife.
