Casa Xcanatun mansion lies at the edge of Merida. The beautiful expanse of green lawns, pools and palm trees fill with the sounds of birds, swaying leaves and flowing fountains. The 1st floor front and back glass walls bring the outside in. The Mexican bedroom is adorned with stunning art and pottery. Its huge private balcony overlooks the pond and fountain and is great for your own private parties. The space Some unique features of the house are: *3 separate patios for relaxing, drinking, enjoying a meal or chatting with friends; *Remote game room with: surround sound TV, onyx bar with mini fridge and wine cooler, pool table, glass card table and beautiful textured features; *Large sparking pool with evening lighting *Library populated with English novels, 350 DVDs, plush lounge seating and view of gardens *2 pool Tiki huts perfect for cocktail chats *Easy visits to the Hacienda Xcanatun's restaurant and massage spa that is a short walk on the next street over from us. Guest access You can almost access anything. As always, you need permission if accessing another person's bedroom. You can access the laundry room before 8:30 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. or be request. During your stay This is a wonderful place to be so I am here at home most days. Occasionally I go to the beach, one of the malls (with ice skating rinks), restaurants, grocery stores or visit ruins/cenotes. I am always happy to take along any guests that wish to go - there's plenty to see. Other things to note Every other Tuesday the lawns are mowed and the plants maintained. No one local starts early, so this will not impact a late snooze but you will feel their presence during the day since this takes a few hours.
