Built in traditional Aeginian architecture Vagia hotel’s rooms and gardens are stone paved with Karystos stones. Our rooms are overlooking the Ancient Temple of Afaia and the blue waters of the Saronic Gulf. Hotel Vagia features a large stone paved terrace, shadowed from a pergola holding harbour trees that produce grapes in the summer. Picturesque spots can be found throughout the hotel such as pergolas overgrown by bougainvilleas, as the hotel is surrounded by lush gardens. The terrace can be rented for special occasions such as weddings and we take care of the catering! Do not hesitate! Give us the pleasure of having you as our guests! Guest access Aegina Island lies in the Saronic Gulf, about 1 hour by ferry from Athens and 30 min by hydrofoil. The village can be reached easily from the port of Souvala (2km away) or from the port of Aegina(12 km away). The bus that connects Vagia with Souvala and Aegina (bus stops only 50 meters from Vagia Hotel).The price indication for someone wishing to hire a taxi is 15 euros. The drive from the port of Aegina to Hotel Vagia takes around 15 minutes. Should you wish, we can pick you up from the port of Souvala! You can rent bikes, mopeds and cars directly from our hotel that will be waiting for you at the port! Other things to note The breakfast although awarded and known, is not included in the price of the room as we do not wish guests to pay for it if they do not wish for it.
