House with a spectacular view over Torne river

Located right on the shore of the Torne River, you’ll find our house just 4 km from Jukkasjärvi and the Icehotel. From the living room, you have a wonderful view of the river, and on a starry night, you might see the Northern Lights from the living room or the terrace outside. In summer, you can enjoy the midnight sun and watch the river sweep by just 10 meters from the terrace. Nature is just around the corner, so put on your hiking boots and head out for beautiful walks. Welcome! PS. We The space Our house is located in Laxforsen, about 4 km from Jukkasjärvi and the Icehotel. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to Kiruna, and if you prefer the bus, the bus stop is just a stone’s throw away. The house was built in March 2025 and features a separate bedroom with a 160 cm wide bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a combined living/dining room and kitchen. The kitchen sofa can be extended into a 160 cm bed, allowing four adults to stay comfortably during their visit. In front of the house, there is a terrace where you can enjoy the river’s flow, the northern lights, the midnight sun, the snow-covered landscape, or the crackling warmth of a campfire. Or why not dip your toes in the water from the jetty? The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge with freezer compartment, a combined oven/microwave, and an induction hob, making it easy to prepare meals at home before heading out on an adventure. Before your arrival you´ll get a message with directions and codes for access. Guest access The easiest way to get to our house is by car, either your own or a rental. Then by taxi and lastly by bus, as buses run very infrequently (see pictures). If you come by car, you can park right outside the house.
