Riverside Bungalow

This is a lovely 3 bedroom bungalow on the banks of the River Crouch. It's semi rural, a 5 minute walk to Althorne station. 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some great pubs and restaurants. We allow 2 well behaved dogs. The riverside walks are fabulous. It's a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub, The Three Horseshoes, is approx. 5 min drive. An open plan living area with patio doors which open out onto a large decking area with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the views. Step down into the garden and you have a lovely green space. The garden is completely enclosed, ideal for your fury companions. A 5 minute walk to Althorne train station and 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some great pubs and restaurants. Guest access You have exclusive use of the Bungalow, with a large south facing decking area and a completely enclosed grassed area. Parking area at the front of the bungalow will hold 3 cars. Other things to note The river walks are fabulous and good for bird watches. It's a quiet and tranquil spot, if you need a relaxing break, this is the ideal place. Nearest pub, The Three Horseshoes, in the village of Althorne, is roughly a 5 minute drive, or hop on the train to the next stop, Burnham on Crouch. Please be aware, there's no shops in walking distance, but the large supermarkets will deliver. The area itself, once you arrive is quite remote. There's no street lighting at Smugglers, our roads are unmade & maintained by ourselves. In the winter the roads don't fare very well and you need to drive slowly to help preserve them. Thank you.
