Ca na Miret: a charming cottage

Ca na Miret is an ancient village house located in the old town of Estellencs (declared a historical complex and with only 318 inhabitants). The house is located on a corner of cobbled pedestrian streets and is one of the last houses with whitewashed facades in the village. The interior has been carefully restored in 2019 respecting the original character of the house. The space The house is about 200 years old and is named after an old owner who had a soda factory. We bought the house in 1990 and did the final restoration three years ago. We have tried to maintain the rustic character of the house and try to introduce the necessary amenities A curious thing about the house is the attic of the small room, which few houses in Estellencs have. It is also one of the last houses to have a facade with lime and not with paint We recommend a walk through the upper part of the village (crossing the road). Within the village, up to three defense towers dating from the 16th century are preserved. Estellencs is one of the best preserved villages in the Serra de Tramuntana. Its beach is located only 1 kilometer from the town and can be reached by walking through the paths of the Sea and the Port. Its location in the middle of the mountains and by the sea makes it an ideal place for hiking with sea views. The nearby presence of numerous public estates such as Planícia, Son Fortuny, Galatzó and Coma d'en Vidal offers us a large number of hiking routes for all levels. It is also ideal for cycling on the mountain roads of the Tramuntana mountain range. Guest access Our house is located in the heart of the village, in a quiet pedestrian area. On the ground floor, you will discover an open kitchen, a corner with a fireplace that invites you to relax, and a small bathroom. The first floor has a spacious master bedroom with a double bed, perfect for resting, and a smaller bedroom that includes a 90 cm single bed with an integrated trundle bed. In addition, this floor has a full bathroom and a laundry room discreetly hidden in a closet.
