Small oasis on Orust

Welcome to our cottage in Varekilsnäs at beautiful Orust – a place where you can really relax and enjoy nature. Here you live shielded without access from neighbors, close to the sea, with the forest and exciting excursions around the corner. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage consists of a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms with a 160 cm bed, a cozy living room with a sofa bed and nice patios for both morning coffee and long barbecue evenings. There is also an annexe The space Welcome to our homely cottage from 1959 – a classic Swedish summer idyll with simple standard, surrounded by greenery, sea and tranquility. Here you live overlooking the Stigfjord, in an undisturbed location without transparency, and with proximity to everything that both Orust and Tjörn have to offer. The cottage has three rooms and a kitchen and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The decor is simple but cozy with a fireplace in the living room and fireplace in the kitchen that heats well during chilly evenings. The kitchen is older but functional. The bedrooms have double beds (160 cm), and the larger room also has a crib. In the living room there is a sofa bed for two, and in a separate annex there are three more beds (single bed + bunk bed). Due to own well and limited hot water, the guest count is set to max 6 people to ensure a comfortable stay. The garden is large and lush with several seating areas where you can enjoy the tranquility, nature and views. There are several swimming areas nearby – both cliffs and sandy beaches – and you are close to everything from cozy cafes to grocery stores and excursions on both Tjörn and Orust. It is also easy to take the bus that goes outside to Gothenburg if you want to make a day trip to the big city before returning to the tranquility.
