Stunning, quiet little cottage nestled in the hills of Marshwood Vale 3 miles from the sea. Sip wine on the terrace surrounded by wildlife, stargaze from your bed or visit all the wonderful things Lyme Regis, Bridport and this area have to offer. The space A delightful little cottage at the edge of a quiet village set in the Marshwood Vale. Wonderful walking through the vale, to the sea, or on the national trust land along the coast, all from your front door or a very short drive. Maps in the cottage and we are happy to help with routes. Although for two it is very spacious, with a large double bedroom, skylight above the bed, (with a blackout blind if you prefer no starlight!) large cottage kitchen diner, sitting room, wonderful bathroom with extra deep enamel bath and drenching shower. Outside you have the decked, covered terrace with masses of seating, comfy chairs and dining chairs/table, and patio heaters. The cottage sits back from the edge of a quiet stable yard, home to a few sleepy horses. The house is full of character and light, a truly restful place to be with masses to do on your doorstep. The cottage allows for a dog or two, the garden has a dog proof fence around it...unless they are high jumpers. We don't allow them in the bedroom and there is a gate to stop them. Guest access Lovely garden outside the back of the cottage and 15 acres of our land leading down through wildflower meadows to the river. Wonderful walking, the beach, Bridport and Lyme Regis all 10 minutes away. Other things to note Please be aware that if you have problems getting in and out of a normal bath there is no walk in shower in the cottage, just a very good shower above the bath. The internet turns off at around 10:30pm and turns back on around 8am.
