Lots of attractions, hiking, biking, shopping, skiing and sightseeing nearby. No smoking inside but ok outside on the furnished private porch. Plenty of space to entertain your guests that may come over for a visit during your stay. I follow the Airbnb cleaning and disinfection guidelines based on insight and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The room is cleaned and disinfected before each new guest arrives and special attention is paid to frequently touched surfaces. My bed linens, towels, bathmats and shower curtain are all laundered with both detergent and non-chlorine bleach. This is a private room with its own entrance, porch and bathroom/shower. It is one room like a studio apartment with a separate bathroom and pantry closet equipped with a small coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and toaster. Child safety gate and bed rail guard available if needed. Happy to be available to guests whenever I'm home and I love to meet new people. Always available through the Airbnb messages or by phone whether or not I'm home. Gas station/convenient store on the corner and RiteAid drug store across the adjoining street, both within steps of the accommodations. Located right downtown and within walking distance of City Park, the library, museums, restaurants, shops and nightlife. A safe and friendly neighborhood close to the fire department, hospital and police station. Within walking distance of everything downtown including the Greater Glens Falls Transit bus stop and the Greyhound/Trailways bus station. A short cab ride from the Amtrack train station in Fort Edward. 24 hour taxis available (and Uber/Lyft).
