Welcome to our lovely home in the beautiful village of Swainby in North Yorkshire. Detached property dating from 1920's, located just within the northern boundary of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Swainby is ideally situated for those wishing to explore the area. We have lovely walks through beautiful scenery from right outside the gate, a medieval castle at the top of the hill and range of restaurants and country pubs within five minutes walking distance. The space Large, spacious north-facing room with double bed and additional sofa bed. Guest access We can provide secure storage for motorbikes and bicycles in our garage if required. Private bedroom. Use of house bathroom and sitting room. During your stay Hosts are resident at property. Please bear in mind that this is a private house and you are renting a bedroom and the use of the shared bathroom and sitting room only. We are not a B&B or a hotel. We do not provide refrigeration, laundry services, breakfast, evening meals/food, cooking or dining facilities. There are two pubs within walking distance that both serve food. We kindly ask that you vacate your room each day by 10am. Other things to note We are located about a mile from the Cleveland Way/Coast to Coast path. Nespresso coffee machine in room. Our hot water is on a boiler system which needs about 30mins notice to heat up. Please let us know in advance if you need showers during the evening of your arrival or in the morning and we can set the timer accordingly. The village has a cafe and two good pubs that both serve food within five minutes walking distance.
