The space In this cozy houseboat on the Elfstedenroute close to Leeuwarden, you literally stay on the water. The space is smartly and comfortably furnished, with a cozy living room where you can sit, read or just look outside. The large windows overlook the reeds, the water and the Frisian landscape. Inside, it is warm, quiet and inviting – as if the water around you automatically brings peace. There are two bedrooms: one with two beds that are next to each other, and a smaller room with a bunk bed – perfect for those who like to sleep sheltered. The bathroom is modern and has a nice rain shower. In the compact kitchen, you can easily make something yourself; there is a fridge, a Nespresso machine and everything you need for a breakfast by the water. On the private terrace, you can sit outside, eat or just watch everything that passes by. You have complete privacy and direct contact with nature. The houseboat is suitable for four people, pets are welcome, and if you want, you can walk up the yard to the restaurant or the private sauna in the old farm. Here you will stay between silence and comfort – and in a special place that feels simple and unique at the same time. Guest access As a guest, you have the entire houseboat at your disposal, including the terrace on the water. Inside, you can use all the rooms: the bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom are completely private and just for you. Outside, you immediately enter the courtyard of Pean-buiten Weidum, a spacious and green estate in the middle of Frisian nature. You can of course walk around freely here, between the tall grass, along the eleven-city route or just stroll towards the farm. There you will find the small-scale restaurant in the historic main building, where you are welcome for breakfast, dinner or a glass of wine on the terrace. The sauna, which you can reserve privately, is also located on the same property. So you are not only at home on the houseboat, but on the entire property around it. The sauna is also located in the farmhouse, and can be reserved privately for a moment of peace. Parking is free and a short walk from your meadow suite.
