In the part of the settlement called Ptáčník there is a fallow deer farm. The Opavice River flows through the settlement, into which the Tisová stream flows in the western part of the settlement. The blue hiking trail passes through the settlement, leading from Vrbno pod Pradědem and continues through the settlement to Solná hora (867 m above sea level). In addition to the hiking trail, a cycling trail called the Silesian Highway leads through the settlement. It connects to the local cycling trail leading through Karlovice, Vrbno pod Pradědem to Karlova Studánka.
