Tucked away beside the lake on the edge of the beautiful Idle Valley Nature Reserve, Birch Bank offers a peaceful escape where comfort, nature and relaxation come together. Inside you’ll find a luxurious king-size bedroom with en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable open-plan living area, complimentary Wi-Fi and central heating, making it ideal for both one-night escapes and longer stays. Outside is where Birch Bank truly stands apart. Relax in your private hot tub, unwind in the hammock overlooking the lake, or enjoy your exclusive private red sand lakeside beach with its own fire pit. Whether you’re watching the wildlife, reading a book or enjoying a quiet evening beneath the stars, Birch Bank has been created for complete relaxation. Guests also enjoy scenic walks, cycling, birdwatching and the beautiful surroundings of the nearby Idle Valley Nature Reserve. To make your stay even more special, we also offer breakfast hampers, BBQ bundles, celebration packages, early check-in and late check-out. If Birch Bank is unavailable for your preferred dates, please take a look at our sister lodge, Willow Walk. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of Birch Bank throughout their stay, including the lodge, private wraparound decking, hot tub, private red sand lakeside beach, hammock, fire pit and allocated parking. Each lodge has its own private outdoor space and designated lakeside area, allowing every guest to enjoy peace, privacy and the natural surroundings. Only guests included on the booking are permitted on site unless agreed in writing before arrival. Other things to note Please read before booking Stonelake Lodges is a peaceful, adults-only countryside retreat designed for guests looking to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. To preserve the tranquillity of our lakeside setting, protect the surrounding wildlife and ensure every guest enjoys their stay, we operate a strict no-party policy. Only the guests included on the booking are permitted on site. Visitors, gatherings, celebrations, loud music and excessive noise are not allowed. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 7:00am. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, we’d love to welcome you. If you’re planning a celebration or social gathering, Stonelake is unlikely to be the right fit.
