Spacious house with room for the whole extended family. 15 min to Ålesund city center and Ålesund airport, Vigra. Fantastic nature in the immediate vicinity, with the idyllic fishing village Alnes a short drive away. Hiking on Godøyfjellet offers panoramic views of the Sunnmørsalps and the ocean. Here you can retreat after a day of experiences in Giske, Ålesund and the surrounding area. The space The house was built in 1937. It has been added on and upgraded in retrospect. It consists of 3 floors: The 1st floor contains a kitchen with a small dining area, dining room and living room/family room. Hallway and wardrobe/storage. Exit to large garden and terrace with seating area. 2nd floor contains 5 bedrooms. 3 of these have double beds, 2 with single beds. 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. The lower floor/basement contains a toilet, bathroom with bathtub/shower and a basement room that can also be used as a bedroom. Laundry room with washing machine/dryer. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, large garden and terrace. Parking space for 3-4 cars. It is possible to borrow a boathouse by the sea upon request. Other things to note From the house it is 200 m to the beach/lake where you can take a dip, explore life in the shore or walk on the pebble beach overlooking Ålesund city. If you want a more active holiday you can try wave surfing at Alnes, 18 hole frisbee golf course, fishing at sea or in mountain lakes or go on one of the many great hiking opportunities nearby.
