Activities of interest may include a trip to the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon, the wonderful village of Lacock (famous for featuring in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey), Stonehenge, the renowned Caen Hill Locks & Kennett & Avon canal, Salisbury Plain, where the views are as dramatic as they are far reaching, Longleat and the stunning Bowood House and Gardens; there is plenty to occupy, entertain and exhaust young and old alike. Our home sleeps 9 people comfortably. It is probably best suited to 4 adults and up to 5 children. Set over three floors there are 5 good sized bedrooms and one family bathroom including separate shower, an en-suite shower and downstairs loo. The first-floor compromises of a master bedroom with a super king size bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom and a twin room with bunk beds. Whilst the top floor of the house includes both a twin and single room. Downstairs there is a spacious, fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with double Belfast sink, large fridge & separate freezer, a range cooker, oven, air fryer, microwave, coffee machine, kitchen island, dining table and large sliding doors which open on to the family friendly garden. The kitchen leads through to the dining room which can comfortably seat 8+ people. The oldest part of the house includes the cosy snug with log burner and leads to the more formal drawing room and log burner. There is a laundry room and loggia where well-behaved pets may stay. The secure, lawned garden includes a climbing frame and treehouse with swings and slide, a trampoline and plenty of picturesque spots for the grownups to relax and soak up the village atmosphere. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire house, garden and driveway. Other things to note • We can cater for babies and have one travel cot. • We can accommodate one well behaved dog, but in the boot room and kitchen only – not on furniture or upstairs. • There is onsite parking for up to 2 cars but more space on the quiet residential road if needed. • Both the snug and drawing room have a large television with Netflix, Disney, Sky Tv.
