The space The unit is brand new, and thoughtfully built by the owner in the basement of a charming 1950's home. We are a small family with two adults, one (not rambunctious) kid, and two sweet dogs. We live upstairs so you might hear occasional muffled footsteps or voices during the day, but we are a pretty quiet household and the unit ceiling and exterior walls have been soundproofed. While pets are not allowed in the unit and it is clean and free of pet smells, it may not be a great fit for someone with severe dog or cat allergies. Guest access Guests will enter the property through a gate that opens up to the patio area. From there you will enter the unit using a private entrance door through the garage (code entry), walk down a few steps, and into the basement where you will have access to the shared laundry, and the living space (keyed entry). See photos for patio, steps, and living space entry. I will set up your access code in advance of your arrival, and the unit will be unlocked with a key waiting for you. I may also be available to walk you through at check in if you prefer. Guests will have a designated parking spot in the driveway that fits compact cars to small SUVs. If you have a longer vehicle you may need to park on the street to avoid blocking the sidewalk, but there are always plenty of spaces available. If you have any questions, please ask.
