With its proximity to the DLR (ESA), you are ideally located for work or business appointments. In the “Kyoto Room” – your 10 sqm guest room on the 2nd floor – enjoy modern comfort and the warm atmosphere of a shared home at the same time. Here you can expect privacy and a stylish shared bathroom that is exclusively available to our Airbnb guests. The light-flooded rain shower ensures a refreshing start to the day, while an additional guest toilet is available on the first floor. Of course, we provide bed linen and towels. Our house offers an open, inviting atmosphere on 130 square meters. As your hosts, we also live here, but have our separate area in the attic – so you can experience the benefits of a homestay without giving up your retreat options. We have placed special emphasis on details in the design: atmospheric lighting creates a pleasant ambience, smart thermostats ensure optimum warmth in winter, and a high-quality water softening system makes the water noticeably softer – ideal for gentle shower experiences and skin-friendly care. Free Wi-Fi is available everywhere, and board games, card games and books are available for a digital break. The location could hardly be more practical: The DLR (ESA) is within walking distance, making our home the perfect place to stay for business travelers and scientists. Bus stops and the S-Bahn station are also nearby, so you can easily reach Cologne city center, the trade fair or the airport. Whether a business trip, a short trip or a city tour – here you will find the perfect combination of comfort, tranquility and good connections in a warm homestay. Guest access Free parking is available right in front of the door. Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and therefore offers a safe and relaxed environment. By prior arrangement, it is also possible to park directly on the property in front of the entrance. Alternatively, there are other free parking places in the surrounding side streets. During your stay, you will receive a personalized access code for the front door, which is connected to a smart lock that allows you to gain flexible access. This code will expire after your checkout. During your stay We also live in the house, but have a separate area in the attic. This way you can enjoy a pleasant balance of personal hospitality and sufficient privacy. We are happy to be there for you and are personally available for questions or concerns, unless we are traveling professionally. In addition, we are always available via chat.
