Cabin A&B: Aurora - View - Hot tub

Check in/out without personal contact 35 min. drive from Reykjavik by the lake Medalfellsvatn, near Hvalfjordur. Exact location will be given closer to your check in. Cabin A: 4 adults+1 child (2 bedrooms). Cabin A&B: Total 8 guests. Panoramic view over the lake/mountains. N-lights from the patio during fall/winter Hot tub ALL YEAR ROUND-wifi-towels-linen A unique family friendly place. The space All our info and cabin manual are in English. Our guests need to understand English fluently. The Cabins are surrounded by a big patio 360°, with a small shed (laundry room), a large Bbq grill (gas) and the hot tub just outside the main door, ALL YEAR ROUND - Geothermal heating. Cabin A: The cabin is for 4 adults and one child. TWO bedrooms (bedroom 1 & 2). Bedroom 1: double bed (160 cm). Bedroom 2: Bunk-bed, with a double bed below (130 cm) and single bed above (90 cm), which is ONLY for kids 12 years and under. See pictures. PLEASE NOTICE: There are 2 double beds in cabin A, NO single bed for an adult. If 4 adults total, then you need to share beds. There is an open closet in bedroom 2, for hangers and 2 drawers. Space for suitcase is not much, but possible to store them in the laundry room. Bed linens and towels are provided, no extra fee. The bathroom has a shower installed. KITCHEN: The kitchen is in an open area with the living room and is equipped with a refrigerator (freezer), dishwasher, small stove w/oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and all other kitchenware needed. We do expect guests to use the BBQ grill on the patio. PLEASE NOTICE: If guests are looking to use the stove with multiple heating elements and wish NOT to use the BBQ grill, then this stove CANNOT serve that size of meals. It can be used for 3 elements at a time, it is smaller than a standard size. LIVING ROOM: The living room has a dining table (expandable), a sofa, chair and a cabinet. There is a 40 inch LED flat screen TV and 4G wifi router. One Icelandic channel (RUV) in Cabin A and radio channels. You can log into your own Netflix a use usb portable drive. LAUNDRY: Washer and dryer are in the small shed on the patio (by the hot tub). Wash detergent is provided. CABIN-B: For 4-6 persons (total 8 persons in both cabins). COMMON SPACE (bedroom 3): *One "king" bed (2x 90cm), and a single bed that can be extended to a double (90cm+80cm), for one adult or two kids. *TV (no Tv channels - only radio) - possible to log into Netflix or use usb. *Small refrigerator (no kitchen facilities). No meals allowed in Cabin B. BEDROOM 4: *2 bunk beds, for 4 persons, (upper beds for kids 12 years and under). ATTRACTIONS: Þingvellir national park, The Golden circle, Hvalfjörður and more. See our manual for more info. Nearest towns are Mosfellsbaer (20 min), Akranes and Borgarnes, for restaurants, shops and more. ACCESS: During winter season you need a 4WD car. NOTICE: If you have an early morning flight back, we recommend to spend your last night in the city or near the airport. The weather in our area can be unpredictable during winter. There are NO public transports to the area. Guests need to take care of their trash during the stay and at check out. Trash area is 2 min drive from the cabins. Also recycle containers if needed.
