Warm and cosy private cottage in Varmahlíð - Hestasport Cottages

With magnificent views overlooking the vast plains and distant mountains of the Skagafjörður valley, our charming timber cottages are the ideal place to spend your days off all year round. Experience the serenity of Northern Iceland and fill your days with the endless possibilities for adventure that Skagafjörður has to offer. Our cottages are nestled together up on the hill only a short walking distance from the centre of Varmahlíð. In town, you will find all the services you need: tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, ATM, swimming pool, and more. From the natural hot tub at the center of the well-maintained cottage site, you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. You will stay in one of our four studio-style 2-person cottages. They range from 30 to 36  square meters in size and feature different decoration. You can choose to have one large double bed or two single beds in your cottage. Please state at the time of booking which one you require. The space Extra beds are available upon request for an additional charge of EUR 40,- per extra bed. The maximum number of extra beds per house is 2. We can provide baby cribs and baby chairs for the little ones free of charge. Just ask. Guest access All guests have private access to their cottage and outdoor patio. The natural hot tub is only a few meters away at the center of the cottage site and at your disposal around the clock. Other things to note We offer a 20% discount for stays of 3 nights or longer.
