The Lodge and common areas The cabin is part of Fisherman Lodge, with a restaurant and bar where you can start the day with a great breakfast or end the night with a drink by the sea. Inside the hotel you'll also find a pool to cool off any time of day. And unlike most places in the village, we have our own generator that keeps the power on all night long. The setting We're in Punta Allen, a small fishing village inside the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, one of the most unspoiled corners of the Mexican Caribbean. No noise, no rush: just beach, nature, starry skies and the calm rhythm of the sea. Perfect for couples and travelers looking to truly disconnect. Guest access As a guest of El Cielo, you'll have access to the Lodge's common areas: the pool inside the hotel, the restaurant and bar, and direct beach access. You'll share these spaces with other guests in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Your cabin and its terrace are for your exclusive use during your stay. Food and drinks at the restaurant and bar are charged separately. Other things to note Punta Allen is a village inside the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, running on a community power system from 11:30am to 2:00pm and from 7:30pm to midnight. Unlike most places in the village, the Lodge has its own generator covering midnight to 8:00am, so you'll have electricity and air conditioning all night long, through sunrise. In the afternoon, between 2:00pm and 7:30pm, there's no power: the perfect time to enjoy the beach, the pool or a nap with the sea breeze. We recommend charging your devices in the morning or overnight. Getting here We're in Punta Allen, inside Sian Ka'an. Access is via a dirt road, and the journey is part of the adventure. We're happy to help you coordinate your arrival. A natural setting Being in the heart of the reserve, wildlife and insects native to the area are a normal part of the experience. We recommend bringing repellent and light clothing.
