Our apartment is located in an old farmhouse. With a beautiful view (airport, horse rental). The apartment is quietly located in Ballum, close to supermarket, bike rental and dining options. Also beach and forest are within walking distance (about 1500 meters). On our property there is a second apartment and we also have various animals walking in the meadow (goats, ducks, chickens and ponies). Guest access Guests have access to their own home and the rear playground/meadow. Other things to note Our apartments are also very suitable for a short stay during one of the sporting events that take place on the island throughout the year. Participants will receive a 10% discount on the then-current rental price. The various events are, for example: Cross Duathlon in January, MTB weekend and lighthouse trail in March, the Rondje Ameland hiking tour in June, as well as the beach rugby tournament and the beach volleyball tournament. In August, the annual horse marathon takes place, and in September, triathlon enthusiasts can enjoy the TriAmbla to their heart's content. In October, there is another hiking tour, between Slik and Zand, and finally in December, the running event, the Adventure Run. It is always possible that we will transfer you to house Gurbe, if that fits better in our occupancy and/or because of minor maintenance work. This will mainly be the case in the quiet period.
