You will benefit from a warm personalized greeting and a series of activities that revolve around Nature. The space The Cabin itself is a newly build structure made out of mostly recycled materials. Inspired by rural Scandinavian small door / "Liten Døør" cabins, we've minimized our global footprint by recycling all sorts of timbers and materials from old abandoned barns. It's 288 square feet are located on a 100 acre private property. You will have access to our sugar bush and beautiful horizon views that give on to our fields that stretch all the way to the Adirondack mountains. The views from the Cabin site will allow you to admire and contemplate memorable morning sunrises, stargaze and enjoy moonlight evenings. With a bit of luck, you might even see some : deer, wild turkeys, foxes, geese, coyotes and more. You will have access to our maple grove and can also visit our animals before your departure. Our Coco Sabot Farm mainly operates a small herd of miniature goats that are used solely for the purpose of pleasure and not for meat or other derived products. Whatever the season or time of your visit, you will see our animals: goats, horse, pony, chickens, roosters and will have the chance to interact with them if you wish. We also offer a stay (for 2 people maximum, no children or animals) in an Eco Lodge (Bûcheron Bergère) as well as a Glamping experience in a Tent, both located on our property but at a certain distance from the Cabin. You will be completely alone at the Cabin, on your land and at your location. The Cabin is located a few feet away from our fields and sits right at the edge of our sugar bush. Other things to note ** IMPORTANT ** - In Winter, you will have to walk about 500 meters to get to the site. - HEATING: The only and main source of heat comes from the slow wood burning stove. So for your convenience, it will be necessary to maintain the fire and we will show you how to do it. - There is NO ELECTRICITY NOR ANY RUNNING WATER but we will provide you with all the necessary Water & Wood you need for your stay free of charge. -It is essential to bring your Flashlights and/or head lamps and SLIPPERS or similar for your feet inside. - An eco-friendly dry toilet is located INSIDE the cabin. - WiFi is unavailable, but cell phone service is Good. - NO SHOWERING OR BATHING services on site. - If you do not want to cook, we offer a Meal and Breakfast service that is served to you at the Cabin.
