Stylish Adelaide-fringe guesthouse

‘Lovely space in a beautiful area, incredibly convenient for an Adelaide stay, with super hosts.’ Hart Studio is a self-contained guesthouse in the leafy inner Adelaide suburb of Unley, just minutes walk from vibrant King William Road with its trendy boutiques and restaurants, and a ten minute drive to the Adelaide CBD. The studio has 1 bedroom (& sofa bed), a lounge/dining/kitchen area and a private patio. It is set amidst lush gardens and is a home away from home with everything provided. The space Hart Studio is a self contained one bedroom guesthouse in the cosmopolitan Adelaide inner suburb of Unley. The Studio is just a few minutes walk from a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants, parks and shops in Unley and on King William Road. It is ideally suited for two people, but we can occasionally accomodate three - please contact us to enquire. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed (perfect for couples), and the sofa in the separate lounge area can be converted into a bed. The Studio is a home away from home with everything provided to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. The air conditioned lounge/dining area has a comfy sofa, TV with Netflix, books and board games. There is a desk for working or studying, and a monitor can be provided on request. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, French press, cooking and baking equipment and a well-stocked pantry. A washing machine and drying rack are provided. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with quality linen, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a shower and bath, and high-quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a small private decking area with a table and chairs for guests to enjoy the outdoors. There is a pool on the property available for guests’ use on request. The Studio is unique because it is ideally located in cosmopolitan Unley, on the fringes of the city. Adelaide CBD is a ten minute drive, and there are buses to the city on both Unley Road and King William Road, with the bus stops just 300 metres away. Glenelg beach is also an easy 30 minute tram ride away from the nearest tram stop on Greenhill Road. Cat lovers preferred! Please note we have three friendly kitties (George, Maple and Kenny) living on the property, so please only book Hart Studio if you don’t mind cats. We cannot guarantee that they won’t follow you into the Studio as they are very curious and love people! On street parking is available on Hart Avenue but may not be available directly outside the house. The road is busy due to residential properties as well as bars and cafes on the street, so you may need to park a short distance away. Please note we were Airbnb hosts from 2017 until 2020, but had a break from hosting after that. We have returned to hosting again starting February 2025 (hence our reviews are a little old). It has private access - ie. it is entirely separate to the main house with its own door. It is reached by walking down the drive to the side of the main house. However if complete privacy and seclusion is your thing, Hart Studio may not be for you. There is a pool on the property, please ask us if you would like to use it. We will provide a pack of basic breakfast items at the start of your stay - breakfast cereals, milk, eggs, bread, margarine etc. Wherever possible we use local ingredients and eggs will always be free range. We are vegan friendly and if you’d prefer non-dairy milk (oat is our own choice!) please let us know.
